Webinar—Working together towards effective self-assurance

You are invited to attend ASQA's webinar on Working together towards effective self-assurance.

A recommendation of the Rapid Review of the Australian Skills Quality Authority’s Regulatory Practices and Processes was for ASQA to shift its regulatory focus from inputs and compliance controls to one that focuses more on self-assurance by providers.

We have released the Working together towards effective self-assurance consultation paper to work with the sector to understand how we can support providers in building self-assurance capability.

The webinar will introduce the concept of self-assurance and what this means for providers. It will also provide information about how ASQA will work with the sector to increase its regulatory focus on provider self-assurance.

This webinar aims to support participants to actively contribute to the self-assurance consultation.

The self-assurance webinar topics will include:

  • What is self-assurance?
  • Why a focus on provider self-assurance?
  • Better aligning ASQA’s regulatory approach.
  • Preparing for the change.
  • Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Prior to the webinar, please have a look at the new working together section of the ASQA website.
