Webinar—Resumption planning: continuing delivery in a changed world
You are invited to attend ASQA's webinar on Resumption planning: continuing delivery in a changed world.
|Date:||Wednesday 1 July 2020|
|Time:||1.00 pm AEST|
|Presenters:||Emma Marks, Assistant General Manager Regulatory Operations|
In recent months, providers have adapted how they deliver VET and ELICOS courses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes may have resulted in adjustments to delivery modes, resequencing of training provided, delivering different units of competency, or changes to staff and resourcing levels. Providers may also have identified new opportunities based on current industry needs.
While some of these adaptations may be temporary, innovative changes have brought about new ways of operating on an ongoing basis while maintaining quality and achieving positive student outcomes.
In preparation for staff and students returning during the coming months, ASQA is hosting a webinar to assist with resumption planning. During this webinar, we will highlight some resources to help you create a safe work and training place, as well as other support that may be relevant to your organisation.
The resumption planning webinar topics will include:
- beginning to return to normal operations – updating information
- COVID-19 provider activity
- reviewing what and how you deliver
- training and assessment strategies
- industry currency
- training practices
- assessment practices
- trainers and assessors
- student support
- safety in a training environment.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
ASQA also continues to offer regulatory flexibility for training delivery. The Three Step Framework for a COVIDSAFE Australia sets the direction for easing restrictions and the gradual reopening of the training sector.
Spaces are limited and webinars often book out, so please register only if you can attend. A recording of the full webinar will be uploaded to ASQA's website for you to view at any time.
