Webinar—Distance learning: compliance essentials, 27 May 2020

Prior to the webinar, please have a look at the distance learning section of the ASQA website.

The use of education technology, including online learning tools, has helped make the VET sector more accessible via distance learning. It is important for providers to understand how the methodology behind the use of distance delivery tools aligns with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (the Standards).

Distance learning: compliance essentials will provide information and advice on how to remain compliant with aspects of the Standards when using distance learning techniques and tools, including:

  • planning for distance learning
  • marketing and enrolment
  • student support and progression
  • training and assessment
  • reporting and record keeping.

A special topic on distance delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic will be covered and there will also be an opportunity for questions.
